Very nice, excellent Wifi, owners very helpful and friendly. Only downside is some motorcoaches had a tight squeeze trying to leave. Quiet mostly w/ only a little road noise.Perfect CG for adults w/ only a minimal amount for kids to do. Perfect if you like peace and quiet. We would stay here again.
This is the only park we have looked forward to on our many summer excursions. Robert & Melissa are 2 of the friendliest owners you will find. It is very dog friendly and always clean. We joked with R&M about not wanting to give them a review because (not unlike a favorite fishing hole) we didn't want to share this wonderful find. This park is more catered to adults who like peace and quiet. Every time we visit, there seems to be improvements. As long as these terrific owners are involved this will be a welcomed once a year stop. Close to Helen, Ga. and Anna Ruby Falls. Truly a gem if you are seeking solitude.(Don't forget dog treats for Clancey and Bernard, the true owners of the park.)
Everthing about this park lived up to website. We stayed mid-week so did not see any noisy partys. Very peaceful and staff very nice and efficient. Weather was awful but, no drainage issues. You can pick up many digital channels w/o cable. Sites are very large with room for two vehicles-no problem. This looks like a fun family park with pools, gamerooms, general store with icecream bar on weekends. We would definitely stay here again.
This is not for those who enjoy peace and quiet.Jets roared overhead from 7:15 am till 10 pm. If you want wi-fi it will cost you $3-4.95 a day,$15 a week. We stayed 3 nights. Look out for little surcharges. We ask for cable and they informed us we could upgrade to super site for an additional $21 a night. Gallon of water went for $2.99 a gal. in camp store (just an example). Super sites looked like you're camping in your driveway. Would have been more enjoyable at home for a lot less. No need for an alarm as you cannot sleep in with jet noise (Deafening). Close to beach with lots on kid things to do. They do not enforce quiet time.We will not be camping here again.
Lake aire is a nice campground. Staff were friendly and helpful. This is a no frills park.Just a pool and bath house with a lake for catch & release fishing. This is about 20 mins. from downtown, but not a bad drive. We arrived after storms had hit and areas were flooded. One motorcoach had to be pulled from the mud. We would stay here again as the price was good for what you get.We would avoid if strong storms are expected in the area.
